LIGHTHOUSE ELC HOMEBUSH WEST OPENING 2020

We are delighted to inform you that Lighthouse Early Learning Centre is going to be the new service provider at Kurralee Homebush West effective 2020.

We are working with Strathfield Council to ensure that there is a smooth transition for all children, families and staff involved.
We understand that you may have questions in relation to how this changeover will affect the day to day operations and the Centre as a whole. We hope this introduction will start to answer some of those questions for you.

Who is Lighthouse Early Learning Centre?
Lighthouse Early Learning Centre offers the highest standard of preschool education for children aged 0 to 6 years. This is also complemented with our before and after school care program for children aged 5 to 12 years.
Lighthouse Group has been operating since 2011 where we commenced in the Sutherland Shire, we have since expanded to North Strathfield, and Sydney CBD.
Providing Excellent Quality Learning to children is at the forefront of everything we do.

Our North Strathfield Centre was recently assessed under the National Quality Standards, receiving an outstanding result of Exceeding National Quality Standards by the regulatory authority ACECQA and Winner of the Inner West Business Awards for Best Child Care Services. Both are prestigious achievement which reflects our commitment and dedication to being a high quality service.
We believe the educators are vital to the success of the business as this translates to the best care and education for your child and support for you as parents/guardians. This will be our major focus. Through leadership development and advanced training for the educators, we will ensure they feel valued, respected and equipped to provide the best possible educational programs and early education services.
Lighthouse values the importance of meaningful and caring partnerships between all families, educators and the community. Our aim is to build positive partnerships through respect and acceptance of cultural contexts and diversity. We believe that all children, families, educators and communities feel a sense of belonging to the centre.
Our commitment to you as parents/guardians is to ensure that the centre continues to deliver a high quality service.

What does the closure of the centre mean for your family?
The closure of the centre has resulted in a complete rebranding of the centre. It will be known as Lighthouse Early Learning Centre Kurrallee.
The centre will reopen its doors in January 2020.

What does the closure of the centre mean for the current staff?
Lighthouse ELC is committed to ensuring a smooth transition for the children the staff and the families.

Why am I filling in another enrolment form?
We are required by law to have all families enrolled under the new entity as this will connect up with your individual CCS information in relation to your accounts and entitlements. It is also a great opportunity to make sure we have your up-to-date family and child information, emergency contact details and child health concerns.
*Please complete the attached enrolment form and hand back to the office no later than Friday 18th October 2019.

Any questions?
We understand the pressures behind a changeover in the ownership of a business and questions you may have. With this in mind, we will personally endeavour to make the process as smooth as possible for all concerned. Part of this transition is open communication between team members, families and ourselves. Please feel free to contact either of us should you have any questions.
